Nabil Fakih, PharmD, owner of Dearborn Heights Pharmacy and the co-owner of Dial Drugs in Michigan, is accused of defrauding Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Dr. Fakih allegedly used Dial Drugs to submit claims for prescription drugs written for people who were dead. He’s also accused of scheming to defraud health plans out of $5 million at the Dearborn Heights location.
On May 8, FBI officials raided Dr. Fakih’s Dearborn Heights pharmacy, but declined the Detroit News’ request for comment.
