The “Fair and Accurate Medicaid Pricing Act,” introduced by Sens. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., and Bill Cassidy, MD, R-La., closes a loophole that allowed drugmakers to underpay rebates to Medicaid, which increased state and federal costs for prescription drugs.
