City of Hope, Eli Lilly partner on residency program

Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope and Eli Lilly have partnered on an oncology-based pharmacy residency program. 

Wafa Samara, PharmD, vice president and chief pharmacy officer at City of Hope, shared news of the partnership in a Dec. 29 LinkedIn post

The post-graduate, year-two residency aims to “develop highly skilled oncology pharmacists” to strengthen the healthcare workforce and improve patient outcomes, Dr. Samara said in the post.
