Under the agreement, UnitedHealthcare’s commercial and Medicare Advantage members will get in-network access to Tenet’s hospitals, outpatient centers and physicians. The new agreement — effective Aug. 1, 2017 — includes a value-based care component, according to a news release.
“We are pleased to complete this agreement ahead of schedule, allowing for continued, uninterrupted access for patients with UnitedHealthcare’s commercial and Medicare Advantage plans,” Clint Hailey, chief managed care officer for Tenet, said in the release.
