First Choice Health said the unidentified data will help employers with at least 200 workers identify high rates of opioid use among employees. Employers can instruct their pharmacy benefits manager to send deidentified pharmacy claims to First Choice Health, which will analyze the data for employers.
“We wanted to offer this report as a public service to the local community that is so important to what we do at First Choice Health,” Jaja Okigwe, CEO and president of First Choice Health, said in a press release. “This data will not only provide insight to our local businesses about how this growing epidemic might be impacting their employees, but it provides a pathway to addressing it head-on.”
The free service will be available between July 15 and Sept.15.
