Portland, Ore.-based Providence Health Plan will cease coverage for 11,000 policyholders in southern Oregon beginning Jan. 1, News10 reported.
Providence is canceling its plan offerings in several counties, including Jackson, Josephine, Curry, Klamath, Lake and others. The decision will affect members who purchase individual or family coverage but not those who purchase coverage through employers.
Providence told News10 it will notify affected policyholders by mail prior to open enrollment and highlight other insurers that are in-network with the same providers.
