In its second year, LLH has captured more than 25 percent of new enrollees on the Illinois health insurance exchange and experienced more than an 80 percent retention rate among existing members, according to a news release. A total of more than 45,000 new members signed up during the 2015 open enrollment period, with more expected during the ongoing tax season special enrollment extension and through continued growth from small to mid-sized businesses, the release reads.
LLH leaders attribute this year’s growth to LLH’s affordable, “broad access plan options,” such as the eightPreferred Partner Plansoffered in collaboration with someofthe state’s most recognized hospitals and health systems.
