Array provides insurers a branded online exchange used by employers to personalize their employees’ health insurance experience. The company and GetInsured collaborated last year to combine GetInsured’s individual exchange technology with Array’s products.
Array CEO Jonathan Rickert said the deal is “the next logical step” for the company.
The deal’s financial details were not disclosed. GetInsured is planning a Seattle office to hold 30 members of Array’s team, according to GeekWire. Mr. Rickert will be senior vice president and general manager of GetInsured’s insurer business unit and Chini Krishnan, GetInsured’s CEO and co-founder, will remain CEO of the combined company.
