BCBS of South Carolina adds national urgent care chain to network after feud

Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina and several American Family Care urgent care centers agreed to an in-network contract, according to the Greenville News.

American Family Care, a national chain with more than 200 urgent care centers across 26 states, had been negotiating with the insurer for the past few months, according to the report.

The feud started after some newer centers in the state were not included in BCBS of South Carolina's network despite older ones being part of the provider group.
