The “neighborhood” hospitals offer patients inpatient and emergency care services. Altogether, St. Vincent opened four microhospitals during the past year, but they lacked in-network status with Indiana’s largest insurer.
To date, the neighborhood hospitals have served 8,000-plus patients.
