Allina Health Aetna grow Medicare Advantage offerings

Aetna and Minneapolis-based Allina Health's joint venture, Allina Health Aetna, is expanding its Medicare Advantage options ahead of the upcoming open enrollment period.

Plans provide $2,250 in preventive and comprehensive dental care funds, $2,000 per ear in hearing aid coverage, $350 annual eyewear coverage and $130 quarterly for over-the-counter items, according to an Oct. 13 news release.

The joint venture's Plus plan also is launching a new debit card, with $100 loaded quarterly, that members can use toward in-network copays.

"As we enter another enrollment period impacted by COVID-19, Allina Health | Aetna strives to offer consistent support to our members by providing connected, affordable and convenient care options," said Britta Orr, Allina Health | Aetna's chief Medicare officer. "We continue to focus on providing a personalized member experience by bringing together decades of Medicare expertise from Aetna with outstanding local providers from Allina Health … working together for a healthier you."
