5 updates on 'Medicare for All' debate

Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., is the latest Democrat to unveil a bill aimed at instating a "Medicare for All" health insurance system, according to NBC News.

Ms. Jayapal's single-payer bill proposes replacing existing private and public coverage with a Medicare option that covers medical services, vision and dental without premiums, copays or deductibles. The bill, which has 107 sponsors, doesn't outline how the proposal would be paid for.
