The American Hospital Association has created a new webpage to spotlight how hospitals and health systems are advancing patient safety and promoting staff well-being.
Organized by state, the resource features dozens of case studies on efforts that have led to measurable improvements in patient care – ranging from major reductions in hospital-acquired infections to workplace violence prevention efforts. The resource is part of the AHA’s national Patient Safety Initiative, a collaborative effort launched in 2023 focused on equipping hospitals with data, tools and peer-driven strategies to foster a culture of safety.
The AHA said the webpage will continue to be updated throughout the year, with new examples added as more hospitals share their progress in advancing patient safety.
