VA taps Medallia for patient feedback

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs awarded a technology contract to Halfaker and Associates, an Arlington, Va.-based federal government solutions provider.

Through this contract, Palo Alto, Calif.-based customer relations management company Medallia — a subcontractor to Halfaker and Associates — will bring its survey software to VA employees and patients. The software platform will enable veterans to submit survey feedback to the VA from various locations, such as a medical facility, VA contact center or Vets.gov website.

VA employees will have real-time access to this information, which will help the organization identify relevant issues. The Medallia platform will be available to 300,000 employees across the VA's 150 hospitals, 819 community-based outpatient clinics and 300 Vet Centers.
