St. Louis Children's Hospital sent 200 teddy bears from Build-A-Bear Workshop to Boston Children's Hospital June 19, according to NBC affiliate 5 On Your Side.
St. Louis Children's said they sent the bears to celebrate the Stanley Cup series between the two cities. The St. Louis Blues beat the Boston Bruins 4-1 June 12 to win game seven resulting in the franchise's first championship.
"From our city to yours, thank you for a fun Stanley Cup experience!" St. Louis Children's wrote in a tweet. Each bear has a tag that says, "Bear hugs from St. Louis! Thanks for a fun Stanley Cup Final!"
