One Drop, a diabetes-focused digital health provider, developed the app. One Drop | Experts connects users with certified diabetes educators, who work one-on-one with patients to provide personalized feedback and encouragement. One Drop’s goal is to deliver education and support to help diabetes patients learn to self-manage their condition.

“Education utilizing digital technology will greatly assist in increasing quality [diabetes self-management education and support] access and potentially help decrease education disparities in locations that do not have traditional programs,” said Jo Ellen Condon, managing director of the ADA’s education recognition program.
