University of Colorado Hospital (Aurora). CU orthopedic surgeons perform 11,000 surgeries each year at University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado. UCH’s orthopedics department is rated the No. 42 program in the nation for orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report for 2016-17. The publication also recognized the hospital as high performing in knee and hip replacement in its common care ratings this year. The Magnet-designated hospital, which is the flagship facility of UCHealth, solidified its spot as a leader in orthopedic care as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement.
