The 1,157-bed University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham is the flagship hospital of UAB Health System. It was ranked one of the best hospitals for orthopedics for 2014-15 by U.S. News & World Report. The UAB Orthopaedic Clinic is located at the Highlands campus of UAB Hospital and offers total orthopedic care services, including foot and ankle, hand therapy, joint reconstruction and sports medicine.
