UAMS completed the 500th robot in November, co-director of spine Hector Soriano-Baron, MD, said in the release. The first robot spine surgery was completed four and a half years ago using the Excelsius GPS robot.
UAMS’ spine program includes the Excelsuis GPS, Medtronic Mazor and the DaVinci robots.
