The five-story structure, to open Nov. 16, groups related services so that patients don’t have to walk far, a concept also used in recent projects by UCLA Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
The first phase of Rush’s $160 million project also includes a new power plant, parking structure and underground supply system.
