Dr. Hassoun is internationally recognized for his work in minimally invasive vascular surgery and is currently at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. His expertise includes repairing aortic aneurysms, carotid stenosis and peripheral arterial disease through small puncture holes rather than incisions, an approach called percutaneous treatment.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hassoun will serve as director of basic and translational science research in the division of acute care surgery and surgical critical care at The Methodist Hospital Research Institute.
