Orthopedic-focused building coming to UC Health campus — 5 details

An orthopedic and sports medicine-focused facility is expected to open on an Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth medical campus in late 2020.

Five details:

1. Construction on the 65,000-square-foot medical office building in Colorado Springs, Colo., began Aug. 21.

2. Called Grandview Medical Center, it will share a campus with the 22-bed UCHealth Grandview Hospital.

3. Grandview Medical Center will house the Center for Orthopedics, offering sports medicine-focused primary care, advanced orthopedic imaging, physical therapy and more.

4. Grandview Medical Center will also have a research partnership with the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s orthopedics department.

5. Grandview Medical Center will be three stories tall.
