The 2,600-square-foot facility is on the hospital’s campus and is dedicated to spine surgery and neurosurgery. It has four exam rooms and was opened to address increased demand for specialized neurosurgical care.

“This new location reflects the significant growth of our neurosurgery program at Phelps Hospital and our enhanced capability to care for the most complex conditions,” David Gordon, MD, neurosurgery chair at Phelps, said in the release. “The streamlined setting allows us greater flexibility to efficiently evaluate and treat patients in a timely manner, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and can return to their lives as quickly as possible.”
