Hospital in Kentucky Opens New Tower for Orthopedic Surgery, ED, Critical Care

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky., has opened a $62 million new tower that doubles the 140-bed hospital’s total area, according to a report by CNBC.

The tower houses a larger ED and critical care unit and adds two ORs for joint replacement surgery, potentially increasing the total number of surgeries by 33 percent.
