Florida’s Morton Plant North Bay Hospital Plans Up to $25M OR Upgrade

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, Fla., is planning a $20-$25 million project to upgrade its operating rooms, according to a St. Petersburg Times report.

The hospital will add eight new ORs and convert the old ORs into recovery rooms. The new ORs will be up to 675 square feet, compared to the old ORs’ 350-500 square feet.
