Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Cancer is welcoming nine oncology specialists to its affiliate, Huntington Cancer Center in Pasadena, Calif.
The center is led by Howard Kaufman, MD, who has practiced at Huntington Health for 17 years, according to the Oct. 10 release shared with Becker's.
The nine oncologists are:
- James Andersen, MD, a plastic surgeon specializing in reconstructive microsurgery for cancer patients.
- Ramona Kyaw, MD, a radiation oncologist specializing in gynecological cancer.
- Amy Polverini, MD, medical director of breast surgery at Huntington.
- Tiffany Shaw, MD, regional medical director of supportive care medicine.
- Jeannie Shen, MD, a general surgeon and fellowship-trained breast surgeon.
- Alicia Terando, MD, regional medical director of surgical oncology specializing in breast cancer and melanoma.
- Tina Wang, MD, clinical director and physician specializing in the treatment of breast, liver and lung cancer, with a focus on immunotherapy.
- Ruth Williamson, MD, clinical director of radiation oncology.
- Yuan Yuan, MD, PhD, director of breast oncology.
