A man died Thursday afternoon after shooting himself in the parking lot of Mesa, Ariz.-based Banner Desert Medical Center, according to AZ Central.
Sometime after 10 a.m., Mesa police and fire crews responded at the scene after they received reports of a "self-inflicted" gunshot in the hospital's emergency room parking lot.
According to the report, three shell casings were marked on the parking lot ground, and a gun was placed into an evidence bag. Police were not searching for additional suspects.
