Clorox sales up 1%

Clorox Co. announced its sales went up 1% in the third quarter, driven mostly by volume gains in sales of its household products, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.

The company’s sales increased to $1.35 billion, up from $1.34 billion a year ago.

For the period ending Sept. 30, Clorox reported a loss, declaring profits of $90 million, down from profits of $136 million in 2013, according to the report.
