Ellenville Regional Hospital CFO to Present at Rural Healthcare Conference

Ellenville (N.Y.) Regional Hospital CFO Patricia Gavis will give a presentation this Friday on how critical access hospitals can leverage revenue cycle strategies to improve finances.

Ms. Gavis will give the presentation with Marge Gray, a business solutions consultant with Craneware. The presentation is part of the National Rural Health Association’s Critical Access Hospital Conference 2013 in Austin, Texas.

About 41 percent of CAHs have an operating deficit, and Ms. Gavis and Ms. Gray will describe how Ellenville Regional, a CAH, was able to achieve “revenue integrity.”
