Following analysis and new vendor contracts, Hackensack UMC achieved average savings of 27 percent on purchased service contracts. More specifically, Hackensack UMC cut language interpreter services costs by approximately 40 percent, transcription services by approximately 35 percent and instrument repair by approximately 20 percent.
