American Family Care Nabs Doctors Express

American Family Care, an operator of urgent care and primary care clinics based in Birmingham, Ala., has acquired Doctors Express, a national urgent care franchise, according to the Dallas Business Journal.

Doctors Express’ clinics will be rebranded as AFC Doctors Express. Doctors Express has 63 clinics spanning 25 states, according to the report, and AFC had 37 clinics in three states prior to the acquisition.

The acquisition was effective April 15.
