Advocate Health Care to Use Social Media, Brand Journalism for Stroke Awareness

Oak Brook, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care announced that along with marketing, it will use social media and develop a brand journalism platform to help raise awareness about stroke and stroke prevention.

Advocate’s efforts to engage patients regarding this issue include the following:

•    Stroke is the theme of this month on Advocate’s new health website — health enews.
•    Stroke is the topic of conversation among Advocate’s Facebook fans and Twitter followers this month.
•    On May 16, Advocate will host a live chat with interventional neuroradiologist Thomas Grobelny, MD, about stroke and brain aneurysms.
