$656M Orlando VA Delayed Again

A $656 million Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Orlando, Fla. has been delayed for the second time, according to a report from local WFTV news.

The medical center, originally set to open in 2012, was first delayed by an immigration raid targeting subcontractors used in the project.

After plans for the radiology department of the medical center changed, the second opening date was set for August 2013.

According to the report, the new proposed completion date is some time in 2014 and may be a result of a dispute between the medical center and its contractor.
