Throughout an 18-month period beginning April 2010, Jhoanna Engelhardt-Fullar allegedly wrote company checks to herself from the medical staff account, funneling that money into her own credit card accounts. At the time, Ms. Engelhardt-Fuller was the system’s director of medical staff services.
Her alleged activity was identified in February, and she was charged with second degree theft by deception last week. If convicted, Ms. Engelhardt-Fuller faces a maximum of 10 years in state prison and a $150,000 fine.
