Prosecutors claim Enuja Vasquez and Lawrence Vasquez falsified Medicaid claims to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority for insulin pump supplies. Specifically, OHCA officials allege the couple filed claims for patients who didn’t have diabetes or didn’t use insulin pumps to manage their diabetes, forged physician signatures and falsified medical forms.
If convicted, the couple could be imprisoned for a maximum of 10 years per count. In addition, they could also be fined up to $250,000 per count, including mandatory restitution.
