Donald Cline, MD, initially denied using his own sperm on his patients when questioned by investigators. However, paternity tests indicate Dr. Cline is likely the father of at least two of his patients’ children. Those two children claim further that online genetic tests indicate he fathered 20 others.

Recently, Dr. Cline admitted he used his own sperm “up to 50 times” for patients when a donor was unavailable. He did not face charges for using his own sample, because in Indiana there is no state law against it. Instead, he was charged for lying about using his sample.

Dr. Cline didn’t take a plea deal.
