Deborah Heart & Lung claims that Virtua and the cardiologists “disparaged” the facility in an effort to keep heart patients from transferring to the facility, according to the report.
According to the suit, Virtua patients were told that Deborah was having financial problems and issues with patient care and were instead encouraged to transfer to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia.
