Among the provisions in the draft bill, also known as the Protecting Integrity in Medicare Act of 2014, is one calling for Social Security numbers to be removed from Medicare cards.
The bill also contains a provision that would give HHS’ Office of the Inspector General 1.5 percent of all Medicare false claims and fraud case recoveries.
