Former University of Rochester Medical Center Admin Admits to Fraud

A former administrator at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center has pled guilty to fraud involving misappropriation of funds and a series of illegitimate payments, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.

Debra Bulter, who worked as an administrator in the medical center's anesthesiology department, admitted to diverting millions to herself and two physicians contracted by the university through several schemes between 2007 and 2012, ranging from false payroll records to bogus contracts, according to the report.
