From April 26 through May 1, approximately 850 volunteer submitters will participate in the testing, which aims to demonstrate that providers and submitters can successfully submit claims using ICD-10 codes, CMS software changes to ICD-10 are appropriate and accurate remittance advices are produced.
CMS seeks to select volunteer providers representing a variety of provider, claim and submitter types.
Volunteer forms are due Jan. 9, and CMS will select testing submitters by Jan. 30.
