California’s Salinas Valley Memorial Shares Names of 11 Potential Partners

A consulting firm has recommended 11 potential partners for Salinas (Calif.) Valley Memorial Healthcare System, according to a Californian report.

Cain Brothers & Co. identified the following partners for SVMH to consider:

• Adventist Health in Roseville, Calif.
• Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, Calif.
• St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, Calif.
• San Jose (Calif.) Medical Center
• Providence Health & Services in Renton, Wash.
• Sutter Health in Sacramento
• Community Hospital of the Monterey (Calif.) Peninsula
• El Camino Hospital in Las Gatos, Calif.
• Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, Calif.
• Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, Calif.

Deals range from clinical affiliations and mergers to making minority investments. SVMH board members wanted to make the names of potential partners accessible since SVMH is a public healthcare district.
