Kaye/Bassman’s Brad Ellis: Hospital Compliance Officers Need Nursing Degrees

Brad Ellis, partner and healthcare division leader of Kaye/Bassman International has recently commented on the success of nursing careers in Hospital Compliance Watch, according to a company news release.

He said that hospitals are increasingly demanding compliance officers to have a strong nursing background and those without nursing degrees may not be eligible for career advancement in the future. He also mentioned that individuals with advanced certifications are preferable to those who only have nursing degrees.
