Roughly 50 employees applied for the program, which is part of the hospital’s larger efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Thirty of the 42 positions will remain vacant, while the others may be refilled with part-time employees, according to the report.
Employees must be off their jobs by May 16, according to the report. The hospital employs about 900 people.
