Tampa General Hospital recognized for innovation

Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital is being recognized by the Tampa Bay Inno 2022 Fire Awards for the hospital’s innovation center and venture capital fund, TGH Innoventures.

TGH Innoventures was launched in the last quarter of 2021 and now has a $15 million fund that looks to invest in innovative healthcare companies. So far, the fund has invested in three healthcare companies and expanded telehealth services, according to a Nov. 11 Tampa General news release.

The awards are hosted by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
