Indiana health system honored for shift-scheduling technology

Munster, Ind.-based Community Healthcare System has won the 2022 Aspire Innovation Award from Ultimate Kronos Group for its use of Dimensions employee self-scheduling technology.

The system allows workers to select their preferred shifts as part of its effort to promote employee autonomy and engagement, according to a Nov. 16 news release from the health system. The health system uses the technology at Munster-based Community Hospital, Hobart, Ind.-based St. Mary Medical Center, East Chicago, Ind.-based St. Catherine Hospital and Crown Point, Ind.-based Community Stroke and Rehabilitation Center.

UKG sets out to recognize employers that try to create good working conditions, the release said.
