Boston Medical Center creates hospital at home

Boston Medical Center is launching a hospital-at-home program.

The program, called Boston Medical Center Hospital at Home, provides hospital-level in-person and virtual care to patients from their homes, according to an April 3 news release from the health system. 

Patients who are experiencing health conditions that require hospitalization will be eligible for the program and will be provided with a virtual hospital room kit, 24/7 remote monitoring, daily visits from clinicians and an integrated care team.
