Where are the 10 best cities for healthcare jobs?

Are you looking for a new job in healthcare? Philadelphia might be the best place to go.

Madison, Wis.-based startup ABODO, a site for apartment hunters, has put together lists of the best U.S. cities for job seekers based on industry.

ABODO looked at U.S. Census Data to focus its list on the 25 most populous cities in the nation. It then analyzed information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Department of Labor to uncover the job density for positions in each industry sector.

Here are the 10 best cities for healthcare professionals — physicians, surgeons, support technologists, lab technicians, dentists, chiropractors and therapists — according to ABODO.

1. Philadelphia
2. Detroit
3. Boston
4. Indianapolis
5. Jacksonville, Fla.
6. Nashville, Tenn.
7. Memphis, Tenn.
8. Columbus, Ohio
9. San Antonio
10. Chicago

San Francisco, San Jose, Texas, and Washington, D.C., were near the bottom of the list.
