Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif., reached an agreement with the California Nurses Association.
The 3.5-year agreement, which covers more than 700 nurses, includes "a first-ever schedule for raises based on years of experience," the union said via news release.
The CNA said the contract also "specifies changes in staffing, scheduling, health and safety protocols, and protections for senior RNs and new graduates."
A hospital spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
