Saint Francis hospitals seek nurses

Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis (Tenn.) and Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett (Tenn.) are seeking employees for a number of nursing positions.

An onsite job fair and hiring event is scheduled for both the Memphis and Bartlett hospital from 8 a.m. to noon and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 24.

Hospital officials said they are offering a $10,000 hiring bonus to eligible nurses for three positions: medsurg RN, intensive care unit RN and emergency room RN. Officials said they are also looking to fill positions for operating room nurses and a number of allied health positions including physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical lab sciences and rehabilitation services.

"Attendees will have the chance to meet with hiring managers and even interview onsite. And we will be making job offers on the spot to top candidates," Keith Stanhill, chief human resource officer for Saint Francis Healthcare, said in an announcement about the job fair and hiring event. "We know it takes a special person to work in healthcare, and we are committed to providing our people with an enriching and rewarding environment at Saint Francis."
