Lima Memorial Health System nurses ratify labor deal

Lima (Ohio) Memorial Health System nurses voted to ratify a new contract Oct. 23.

The contract, which covers nurses represented by the Ohio Nurses Association, includes an 11 percent across-the-board pay increase over the three-year contract, the union said via news release. The ONA said it also includes "a 114 percent per hour shift differential increase for weekend shift" and "a 17 percent per hour shift differential increase for charge nurses," among other provisions.

The new contract takes effect Nov. 1.
